SUMMARY:Ausbon Sargent Presents: An Evening with the NH Butterfly Monitoring Network
DESCRIPTION:Join us to hear from Amy Highstrom\, volunteer local group leader with the New Hampshire Butterfly Monitoring Network from the NH Fish & Game Non-Game Wildlife Program. She will explore the topics of NH native butterflies\, their habitats\, and how you can make your property more equipped for our beautiful butterflies. Amy also coordinates the Lake Sunapee Region butterfly count\, so she is well acquainted with the butterflies in our area. The presentation will cover what has been found on the local butterfly counts so far\, with an emphasis on habitat types for different species. \nIf there are any landowners whose land is under conservation that would like someone from the butterfly count group to come do a walk-about count to see what can be found\, please let Amy know at: amy.highstrom@gmail.com. She will do her best to match the request with available volunteers. This would be an informal and fun experience for both the landowner and volunteers. \nThis event is free and open to all\, but registration is required.
