Crowther Chapel

Crowther Memorial Chapel is a tiny historic 10-by-12 foot stone chapel built in 1934 as a memorial for John Crowther, who passed away from leukemia at age 15. Features stained glass windows and a surrounding low stone wall with a wrought-iron gate enclosing the graves of John Crowther and his parents.Located in the woods on a hill above the town and lake of Sunapee, on property near Dexter’s Inn, access from Stagecoach Road.
Crowther Memorial Chapel is open to the public on the last Sunday of the months of June, July, August, and September from 11:30am – 1:30pm.
