Project Sunapee is committed to supporting education in our community. We work in conjunction with teachers to help enhance projects or school initiatives by providing volunteers. We enjoy connecting community members with the school and bringing people together.

Each year Project Sunapee volunteers support the Renaissance Fair conducted for 6th graders. In partnership with the teachers, helpers transform the school gymnasium into a 17th century European banquet hall and serve homemade food for students to enjoy. Students present projects they have created, perform music from the period, and host interactive booths. It is a great afternoon!

Project Sunapee volunteers also support instruction in economics class. Each semester, community business owners spend an hour providing feedback for students who are designing businesses they would someday want to own and operate.

Senior Project Night in April is an exciting night at SMHS! Project Sunapee volunteers help serve as judges for the student presentations.
